The version I own is the i7-4770HQ/16GB DDR3L RAM/1TB SSD (dual 512GB PCI-e) (full specs can be found online, this is a review of my personal experience with this device instead of a benchmark).

A Few Minor Quirks But Majorly Capable

An exceptional piece of machinery, currently performing just as well as as the most objective reviews proclaimed. My gripes are few but perhaps they will sway your decision to purchase or not.

First, I tough it was a good tablet, I bough it for drawing mainly, and to replace my heavy 17″ laptop.

I used SP3 (I5, 128GB) which made too much fan noise, Even in web browsing.

This is by far the best computer I have ever owned. I got really into Vaio with my vaio tap 22 back when it was owned by Sony, I really liked that desktop so I decided to give it a try with with the Canvas Z. This hybrid has enormous power. Contrary to what people are saying, the battery lasts around 5 to 6 hours heavily using programs like Corel Draw, Pymol and OriginLab at the same time. The stylus could be more responsive but that is a minor thing and doesnt not bother me. I highly recommend.

I really love this device

This device is better than my imagination! The process performance of Its CPU is outstanding, and I can simulate for fluid dynamics really quickly with the model I proposed. I can also read the paper or draw the sketch conveniently. In addition, the I/O performance of its SSD is pretty amazing, both read and write speed can be over 1.5GB/s. Without the adapter charger, I can use it for over 5 hours continuously by using Office, reading some PDFs, or surfing the Internet, if the battery is fully charged.

Simply Amazing..

After much research I decided on the Vaio Z Canvas over the Surface Pro 4. It was a great decision. This machine is fabulous for my needs. As an architect I love that I can take it to a job site and show renderings and 3d fly thrus to the contractor and subs helping explain the plans. The detachable keyboard allows me to work with a mouse or stylus and type in commands with ease. It is fast, the screen is stunning and it was money well spent. The only negative is the weight is more than the SP … but I have no problem with it. You will be pleased if you buy this tablet.
