Finally. Headphones done well. I’ve been on a solid 3 month hunt. Buying and returning until my head was spinning but the Sony XB950N1 is a welcomed addition to the long line of over-the-ear bluetooth headphones I’ve tried. These headphones aren’t perfect but they’re good at everything they attempt to do. And that’s what’s been hard to find – a pair of headphones that does all things well. Don’t get me wrong, there are headphones that do some things better, much better, but those end up falling short in other critical areas. So I welcome the Sony XB950N1s as the best all-around headphone out there, for me at least.
Best headphones I’ve ever owned. 2nd pair

These are my second pair of this line. I love the color and build quality.
Might be biased because I’ve loved sony audio products for a long time. Sony is low-end audio equipment for the most part, but its the high-end of the low-end products, if that makes sense. They sound great , but probably not for someone used to studio equipment. I use them daily for work, music, and noise cancelling on an airplane twice a week. These are perfect for my needs. Love the big cups too, seal around your ears really well and is quite comfy. The bass boost is nice to use. I leave it on, then adjust the audio from the source, taking down the bass a bit. Creates a nice middle that adds good “thump” without sounding artificial.
Love these headphones they are clear have nice bass that don’t distort the sound and the noise cancelling works great you can’t here anything with music going. The battery life is great it what is stated to be. The headphones fit ear perfect the cups are nice and padded also. There Easy to hook up to many devices to. The price is worth it id recommend these to anyone.
Awesome headphones. Best bass ever.
Awesome headphones, I owned a pair of the previous generation headphones and I thought the headphones were awesome. These are even better. I just bought a pair of Shure SE846 and in my opinion the sound for these headphones is way better (the price for the Shure headphones is 1000$). I know that I probably should not compare in-ear headphones with over the ear headphones but for me the end result is most important (the sound quality) and these headphones are better for me. The mids and highs are comparable but the bass is way better for the Sony headphones. Also the headphones are very comfortable, the battery lasts long and the active noice canceling works pretty well. I never heard such a good bass for any headphones. You won’t even need the bass boost feature.
Best headset ever owned
Best headset I have ever owned. Plenty of bass if you want it. With noise cancelling on and some music you will be completely encapsulated in sound.
Very nice headphone and high quality.

I had the XB950BT, but found the sound slightly muffled and the BASS BOOST feature overdone and not usable (WAY over-exaggerated the bass), so I ended up returning those (last year).
Good sound comfortable feel
