I have definitely seen multiple improvements with these new PS4 controllers over the older ones. The battery lasts a lot longer, the thumb sticks are more rugged and have better grip on them, L2 and R2 buttons are more springy (good thing), and the thumb sticks also feel way smoother when moving them around. Other things I have noticed is that the buttons are now grey like the throwback controller and there is now a light on the touchpad. Although the last gen controllers are still pretty good, I would definitely recommend the new gen controllers for only $10 more.

I needed a new controller since the one I got when PS4s were released has stopped holding a charge and Destiny 2 is out.

Battery does not hold charge. Used it for 3 months only.

One of the best controllers I’ve ever had (and I’ve had quite a few). The sticks are super accurate and feel “hair trigger” style where even the slightest movement is read, making it perfect for games that need precision. The buttons all feel durable and easy to press, the d-pad makes precise movement trivial (although if you play something like Super House of Dead Ninjas and constantly hold Down while running, expect your thumbs to get tired, lol). The triggers are solid and, again, very precise. So if you like having customization in shooters between hair triggers or full stops, you’re good to go.

Nice little upgrade Works fine on older PS4 tested it on PS3 big CHCHE and doesn’t get as dirty as black or white. White comes in second place black still gets dirtier dust

I use this controller the most. I like it alot. It does not come with a usb cord as it shows in the details above shown. So if you do not have a usb charger you might want to pick one up because as i just stated (this controller comes with no charging usb cable)
